Bad News for Sony
Last month, a man in California filed suit against Sony for unfair business practices. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of all PSN users who purchased a Playstation 3 before changes were made to the terms of service agreement in September. Buried inside the new terms of service agreement is a line that forces costumers to give up their right to file a class-action lawsuit against the company. Those who refuse the terms of service agreement will no longer be able to access their PSN accounts, including accounts with prepaid plans.
It sounds like Sony is going through some tough times, with the lawsuit and all. Maybe some Playstation Vita sales figures will cheer them up? It's not like it could have a worst launch than the Nintend-Oh snap! I guess this brings us to our next story.
Even Worse News for Sony
The Playstation Vita is a broken mess. The Vita has only been out for three days in Japan and it's not doing so hot. Issues with the new handheld include Wi-Fi connection problems, system freezes while playing, installing, or updating games, and a load of other problems that turn the Vita into an unplayable device.
The greatest concern facing Sony's new console won't be the growing list of technical errors, but the early sales numbers that place the Playstation Vita in last place alongside its PSP counterpart.
I'm not an expert on these kind of things, but if you have stock in Sony, now might be a good time to sale.
